cK at the 8th Annual Toronto RibFest!!

cK, N8 & D'ETTE CHOW DOWN ON RIBS

It's an annual tradition that N8 and I would go to over the Canada Day weekend. The Annual Toronto Ribfest, now in its 8th year is cooking up some very tasty things to draw the 100,000+ people that go.

Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Etobicoke, it is held at Centennial Park in a sectioned off part where there is no need for beer gardens or areas secluded for beer drinkers. There is a huge live stage with music playing and even carnival rides. N8 and I usually just go there to partake in all the different rib stands and see which one we like the best. Last year, we were sold that the Jack Daniel's booth was the best and this year, we went back for more. Just as we remembered, their ribs tasted amazing.

D'ette was along with us for our ribfest adventure to see what all our hype was about. She found out when she sunk her teeth into one of those ribs we bought! They were soooo MMmmm GOOD!!

The lineups for the ribs are insane, you could be in line for 20-30 mins waiting on those ribs, making you anticipate those ribs even more when you get them! The beer lines moved really fast as there is never a wait. Sometimes we split up to get in different lines so when we all did have food, we wouldn't have to line up again. On top of getting succulent ribs, I waited in line for roasted corn ("KARN" as me and n8 call it) and an Onion Bloom.

After we had those goodies, we ventured over to the carnival area where there was a TINY TOM's donut stand. We got some to eat and upon getting those, we ventured home.

Another great Canada Day and year at the Annual Toronto Ribfest.
