Heavyweight Boxing Champion Evander Holyfield met
up with Kelvin at a press conference. Kelvin challenged
Holyfield to a 3 round bout where he guaranteed he would
knock out Holyfield in the 3rd round. Don King, Holyfield's
promoter was eager to hear a challenge of this multitude.
Instead of creating this fight at a pay-per-view venue,
the fight was held at a back alley in Las Vegas. The title
was not on the line. With a crowd of 130 people present,
Kelvin knocked Holyfield to the floor at 5 minutes and 23
seconds in the 2nd round. Don King quickly wanted to sign
Kelvin but he refused to sign with him. The humble Holyfield
congradulated Kelvin on his win and asked for pointers. |
