cK's The BEST Man!

VINH AND BO WEN'S WEDDING AT THE FANTASY FARM

It was the wedding of the year!! The dynamic duo of Bo Wen and Vinh finally got married at the Fantasy Farm in Toronto. The wedding itself was quite simple, yet beautiful. I was the lucky guy chosen to be the best man for this wedding and helped start the party right!!

Family travelled from all over the globe to make it to the wedding. Even notable personalities such as THE BIG BLACK MACHINE and Treeesh came to celebrate. It was set outdoors in front of a lovely fountain and lush trees in the background on a humid August day.

I never seen Vinh look so sharp until this day. Bo Wen looked fabulous as usual. The minister to join this couple in holy matrimony was great. I can't remember his name, but he made everyone feel at ease and it appeared that he was very excited to marry the young couple. The minister said some positive words and advice and then the couple was officially married.

I had my hand in the ceremony where I was holding the ring for Bo Wen, waiting to be called upon. The ring was soooo tiny that I had it on the tip of my pinky finger. Seriously!!! It was that small!

Well after the ceremony, everyone assembled inside for the traditional tea segment of the wedding. Where the bride and groom have tea with their parents. It was really cool to see, Bo Wen and Vinh changed from their wedding gown and tuxedo to traditional chinese robes.

After that, the dinner segment began. While people were getting served their meals and getting drinks, Bo San, Bo Wen's sister, the main girl who helped organize everything, was the emcee and had lots of things lined up for tonight's reception. Cool things like games and activities to get people involved, making this wedding very exciting. I was called upon to say some words and I totally wasn't prepared. I said my piece and made a toast!

The night was filled with lots of fun, dancing and partying. Outside, it began to rain really hard. I remember hearing once if it rains on your wedding day, you are blessed. Good thing that the rain happened AFTER the ceremony and everyone was indoors.

The night turned out to be very special for me as I happened to meet the girl of my dreams! Yes, fellas... it happened at a WEDDING! Well, it wasn't my intention to go to a wedding and meet anyone, but it just so happened that I met someone really special there. Actually, I can remember the moment I first saw her... it was when I just arrived in the parking lot and was parking the car. THE BIG BLACK MACHINE was in the front seat and TREESH was in the back videotaping. As I glanced over to my right I saw this totally gorgeous girl in the passenger seat of a car two spots away from us. I gasped and TBBM looked over as well and got silent fast. "Oo0o0o0... I *like* those friends.... Hiiiii!!!!", I exclaimed. TBBM said real low as he was in awe, "hellloooo nurse!". Then I looked at him and we both said loudly, "HELLOOOOO NURSE!!" (This was a quote from the cartoon show, "Animaniacs" in which if any of the characters saw a really hot looking woman, they'd say "hello nurse")

This she definitely was! I don't know what it was about her but as you can see from the video above, that after TBBM and I made our reaction, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She totally had me in some sort of trance!! I couldn't wait to see her later on that night. During the reception, I had my eyes glued on her. I couldn't believe how beautiful she was. (Remember that 80's movie, "Weird Science" where the 2 teenage boys create thier dream girl with a computer? Ya, if I were those 2 kids, this girl is exactly what I would have created) I finally got the courage to go up to her table and introduce myself. Can you believe that the GREAT cK was nervous?!?! For the first time ever in my illustrious history, I was getting like a stage fright or something. Well, when I spoke to her, she was sooo quiet and sweet. I mean, I was just in awe here. I couldn't believe I was so close to her and now, she's actually TALKING to me!!

Later on, we had some moments to talk. However, we kept getting interupted by people that were oblivious of our time to "get to know one another". Her name was D'ette and I didn't get her phone number when she had to leave, but I really hoped I would see her again sometime soon.

Well, the night ended around 1am when we had to clear the premises. It was an awesome evening and the best wedding of the year (for me). Congratulations Bo Wen and Vinh!!!
