cK & Alex in Toronto - Part 2 of 2

cK's pals visit the CN Tower, Chinatown and more!

After having some good food at Cayman's Restaurant, we then headed down for downtown. GABE departed from us and didn't come along. My cousins, Tricia and Ron stayed back to look after the restaurant.

We all jumped in the massive Ford Expedition and headed down my Toronto shortcuts due to the fact that the Gardiner Expressway that leads into the city was closed the entire weekend for construction. As I was driving down the little city streets, I was giving a tour of the little bits of history in the area. We passed through "Little Portugal", and "Little Italy" and then through Chinatown. The women's eyes widened when we drove through there. They were asking if we can stop -- so we did. I parked the truck for $5 right across the Bay Bus Terminal. Alex and I really didn't want to SHOP... we wanted to see more of the sights, and thats what I wanted to show Alex.

The women went their own way, while Alex and I did our own thing. The guys walked down the club district up to the CN Tower, which I had a 2 for 1 admission pass for. I wasn't sure if we could get in, it was kinda late. Just passed 6pm. I called the CN Tower info line and found out that the place was open until 11pm! Wow.. So I knew we had some time. Alex and I went into the world's tallest free standing structure. It cost $31.99 for both of us -- TOTAL!

Alex was just amazed at the actual height of this tower, and the view was amazing. Just simply breathtaking. We had a lot of fun up there. There was even a bar and lounge that we just chilled in watching some football highlights on a flat screen.

The women were in Chinatown having a blast buying shoes and taking in the sights. The pictures below are what they took.

What a fantastic city! The weather was amazing and the sights were great. You appreciate this kinda stuff when you are not used to it. Sure, Cali has beautiful beaches and nice scenery too, but the culture is lacking. That is definitely what you get here in Toronto! Wow..
