cK at Elisa's Garage Party

Daniel chilling outside the venue

After hanging out at the Malibu Ranch, Sabrina and I ventured back to my place where we were going with my roomate Daniel to a loft party in downtown LA. Dan was djing one of the sets. I didn't know exactly what we were in for, so I just dressed like I was going clubbing.

When we followed the directions, we ended up in the Santa Fe Artist District, which was all warehouses and loft buildings. There was a big fenced gate with strict security. We parked the car, and approached the gate. After confirming with security who we were, we were allowed entry.

We walked to the back of the building to see that the party was being held at Elisa's Garage, which is a hair studio. We walked into the space and there was lots of food and drinks and trendy hip people. I saw our friend, Greg on the turntables mixing the first few sets. I walked over to him...greeted him and then went to get some drinks and snacks.

This real, gorgeous girl came up to me and introduced herself as Elisa, and welcomed me to the party. She then offered me a cupcake that she personally made. I'm not too much into cupcakes, but I tried one. They were really good, I must admit that.

Dan and Greg played some wicked old school music, and went up and danced a little. I met some nice people there. Sabrina seemed to have a good time dancing a little. One thing that was a defining moment was of the night was when Sabrina and I saw a bottle of Smirnoff Vanilla Twist Vodka. Both of us have never had that before, so we decided to try it. I mixed it in a glass of Diet Coke (Zero Carbs Zero Calories) and tasted it. It was really good. Sabrina took a sip and mentioned that it smelled like Vanilla Coke. You know what..... IT DID!! Well, after tasting Vanilla Twist Smirnoff for the first time, I really liked it. I liked it so much that I didn't even touch the bottle of HPNOTIQ that was beside it. Honestly, I wasn't in the mood for that tonight.

Well, we all had a great time. The following are some of the photos I snapped when I was there. The last few pics are shots of the beautiful Elisa herself.

You can see more of Elisa's work for yourself at Elisa's Garage or set up an appointment by calling: (213) 623-1233.
