cK At the Movies: June 24, 2009

CK reviews this summer's big blockbuster, "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen".

Welcome to the another edition of "CK At The Movies"! I'm your reviewer, CrazyK and today I will be reviewing what is sure to be the biggest movie of the summer, "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen".

TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN (2009)
Starring Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro

The sequel to the 2007 blockbuster promised to deliver more action, drama and special effects -- which it definitely did! I was there on opening day with hundreds of others who packed the theatres to watch the movie. I don't remember the cineplex ever being so crammed, and on a Wednesday!

It seemed like the writers spent more time paying attention to a solid plot line, character depth and action sequences. I guess this explains why the movie is 2.5 hours long! Whoa! To me, those 2 hours flew by! The original movie I watch over and over, and I can still watch it again. This sequel, I will definitely get the dvd when it comes out, as its a great movie with everything I wanted in it. It is hard to talk about some of the great stuff that happens without giving away anything, but I can say this. If you enjoyed watching the first movie, then you will really enjoy the sequel!

Autobots... transform and roll out!!!!!

Real Deal wrote: The movie is good, but I wish they would follow the premise from the original animated series. They should've had the Aerial bots fight the Constructicons' Devastator (the big giant decepticon at the end of the movie). Who is this 'Fallen' character??? He was never in the original unless he's supposed to be Galvatron, but Galvatron was the replacement for Megatron. If they make a Transformers 3, then they should really have more scenes in space and they should implement more of the original characters from the original series. But, the budget would probably inhibit the use of such characters.
