CrazyKelvin To Be Featured in 2009 AGO Art Exhibit
TORONTO, Ontario - CKNEWS has been informed that the one and only CrazyKelvin, will be featured at the Art Gallery of Ontario during an exhibition in 2009.
The exhibit will be held at Toronto's premiere art museum, the newly renovated Art Gallery of Ontario.
Not only will CrazyKelvin be featured, but his friend, The Big Black Machine will also be featured.
The Art Gallery of Ontario will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the "Teens Behind The Scenes" program where the Gallery introduced a teen influence into establishment. cK and TBBM were part of the first year in 1999, known as "the Guinea Pig" group which paved the way for the rest of the years to follow. A first in the AGO's 108 year history.
Syrus Ware, the Program Coordinator for the 'Teens Behind The Scenes Program' says that the cK and TBBM will be provided video equipment and will produce and direct their own video about youth arts or the youth program and their involvement with the Art Gallery of Ontario.
There will be 10 total videos for each year of the program. The launch for the 10 videos would be at the 10 year anniversary exhibition, in which the videos would be on display in the Young Gallery in August 2009.
"We said we were taking over back in 1995... and I always dreamed of having my own exhibit at the AGO, and now it's finally happening!", said CrazyKelvin.
The Art Gallery of Ontario reopens to the public on November 14, 2008.
