Original Website From 1998 Uncovered!

TORONTO, Ontario - After rifling through old hard drives and 3.25 inch floppy disks, the website prior to CrazyKelvin.com known as 'Kelvin Designs" was recently uncovered.

Similar to that of an ancient Egyptian archeological dig, the discovery of a website from olden internet times was discovered while sorting out old floppy disks.

The website, CrazyKelvin.com has officially been around since 2001. However, the roots of the website trace far back as October 12, 1998. Before CrazyKelvin was "Crazy", he was simply just 'Kelvin'. The website that he created was named 'Kelvin Designs' to showcase his drawings and art. The core idea of this website remained, but over the years, Kelvin added more concepts and functions to the website making it more dynamic.

To understand a little more about the time 'Kelvin Designs' was created, we have to go back to 1998. It was a complete different time in regards to internet and computers. Dial-up internet connections was widely used as well as 3.25 floppy disks, Iomega Zip Drives and lots of coffee for the extensive wait times when downloading one song. During that year, the number one box office movie was "Armageddon". Other movies that year were "There's Something About Mary" and "Saving Private Ryan".

In TV, 'Felicity', 'King of Queens' and 'Dawson's Creek' were starting their first season. In music, Britney Spears put out her first single, "Baby One More Time". The Goo Goo Dolls had their song, "Iris" at number one for 18 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay Chart. The number one single in the world was Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" still hot from the Titanic movie.

So with that all in mind, let's journey back to see what Kelvin Designs was all about!
