cK Returns To The Radio Airwaves!
TORONTO, Ontario - After a hiatus, management complications and schedule conflicts, it appears that cK will return to hosting 'Catch Da Flava' Radio on 88.1FM. CrazyKelvin re-signed a contract this afternoon marking his official return to the radio show that he first appeared on back in 1999.
There were lengthy negotiations with show producer, Adonis Huggins, who created the show back in 1998. Recently, there have been some management issues and restructuring going on at CKLN which had put the radio show on hold. CK has not been a permanent host since 2006, and has made random guest appearances.
Now that CK will return to the airwaves in a new studio, new management setting-- will there be a new format and structure of the show? CrazyKelvin told CKNEWS that the show's main core mission will remain the same: "Youth radio produced by youth, for youth". However, since they are moving forward, there will be more elements added to the show. Possibly the return of listener call-ins, and live chats. In a year's time, the show will be broadcast directly from Regent Park's new studio facility. A lot of new ideas are being thrown around as CK brings his experience and fresh ideas into the program.
Listen in this Tuesday at 7:30pm (EST) for the return of 'Catch Da Flava' Radio and then weekly from then on.
